Nurses Phone Line

Posted January 29, 2010

Due to staffing constraints, the offices of WNY Pediatrics have changed our Nurses Phone Line policies.

To assist with our call volume, we are now be offering an appointment line for sick children, as well as a nurses phone advice line.  We anticipate the change will allow the families of sick children easier access to an office appointment.

Families with questions are still welcome to call our Nurses Line to discuss non-urgent matters.  Please note, if a call back is required from the physician, it may take up to 24 hours to receive a return phone call for non-urgent matters.

Calling After Hours

Posted June 1, 2009

Our physicians are now taking ALL after hours telephone calls.  Phone calls should be limited to emergency questions regarding your child.  All routine and non-urgent telephone calls should be directed to the office during regular office hours.  Our after hours number is 559-1619.  Please allow up to one hour to receive a call back from the covering physician and remember to disable call block from your home phone, as this will delay a return call.  If your child is having a life threatening emergency, please dial 911 for emergency assistance.
